You get what you pay for. My biggest gripe was the wifi didn’t work in my room. If I wanted to talk on the phone or video call I would have to go into the hallway to do it. Besides that the shower leaked a bit, and barely ever had hot water. The restaurant was good though, staff was very friendly, and common areas were nice.

Kantu hotel was a lovely place to stay for our five nights in Cusco. It exceeded our expectations. Its location was perfect, our room was large and well furnished. The breakfasts were wonderful, and when we went for an early tour, they packed a breakfast for us to take with us.

The hotel was in pretty good condition, very nice and clean. The only thing I would note is the shower water pressure is quite light, and it does take a good few minutes to become hot. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the hotel, and the quality was great for the cost. I would definitely say it's a solid choice if you come to Cusco and want to be in the historic centre area. The hotel also has a great location, being very close to a number of different shops, cafes, and restaurants. We tried new places to eat every night, and they were all amazing. Additionally, there were a couple laundry shops within 5 minute walk from the hotel, which was very convenient for us. One thing I would note though, is the hotel is on an uphill from the majority of the shops and main areas of the historic centre, so walking back to the hotel might be a bit tiring/challenging, especially if you're experiencing altitude sickness. The hotel does offer complementary coca tea though, so that was nice to have throughout our stay o try and alleviate symptoms.

Very pretty old world feeling hotel. Very quiet, large clean rooms, included breakfast was good and changed a bit everyday. Walking distance to most everything you would need. The staff was very friendly. One thing to consider is time of year of your stay as the rooms do not have air conditioning. Overall would highly recommend.

Wonderful property. I will stay there again. Very nice clean rooms. Decent size. There are many rooms together so they don’t have a nice ambience. As far as getting together. Breakfast was average, but I would stay here again.
